● COMING! Rifts® Phase World® Sourcebooks from Star Anvil, a new licensing partner. Their first Kickstarter starts in mid-July, but you can join their pre-launch campaign now. They will be creating a series of adventure sourcebooks for Phase World and the Three Galaxies™ in the tradition of Palladium, but utilizing the Savage Worlds rules. Remember, new weapons, gear, spacecraft, aliens, worlds, and adventure can be easily converted to the Palladium game system and added to your existing Phase World or Rifts campaign.
● The New Palladium Books website and online store will go live NEXT WEEK! We were going to launch this week but with the 4th of July holiday, Palladium’s technical support team will all be off on a long weekend vacation. That meant there would be nobody available to troubleshoot if there were any problems, so we decided to launch next week. You’ll love it. The website and store will look very different and it will require you to provide all your information the next time you place an order, but it will provide you greater versatility and functionality for mobile devices and PCs, as well as a new clean appearance, and many new features including additional payment options, the ability to buy PDFs directly from Palladium Books, book bundle deals, and more. | UPDATE! Rifts Promise of Power Reforged– Video Game |
| This project is very near and dear to our hearts. We thought with this being Rifts’ 35th Anniversary, that the timing would be perfect. We jumped off to a great start, but pledges have slowed down to a trickle, and we are assessing the situation.
All of us at Palladium Books remain dedicated to releasing this Rifts video game built upon the strong framework of Rifts Promise of Power, but this may not be the right time for a project like this. For now, we are letting the campaign run, but odds are that we’ll suspend the crowdfunding campaign, regroup, reassess, and relaunch in the future. We’ve already been spitballing ideas.
Our sincere thanks to all of you who have backed the project and provided valuable input and suggestions. We read all the comments and take stock in everything said. More to come in the days ahead. |

| Palladium collectibles as well as action figures and other items from Kevin Siembieda’s personal collection are on sale!
One-of-a-kind Palladium Books negatives are always very popular items at the Palladium Open House, Gen Con, and conventions, and are catching on as rare collectibles, unique in and of themselves. Last year at Granite State Comic Con Kevin Eastman had TMNT negatives from the first comic book on display.
Before digital printing, pages of a book were laid out by hand on a board, and each page was photographed. These are the photographic negatives being sold as individual works of art and collectibles. When matted or framed on a white background they look like dynamic wood cut prints. And they are on sale right now! |

Whether you’re going to the beach, a barbecue, or staying home to run games or just relax for the 4th of July weekend, please enjoy yourselves. I’m sure you deserve it.
I will probably try to get some writing done. I’ve been struggling with writer’s block the past week or two, but I feel like I’m coming out of it. I may also try to figure out what original artwork and negatives to bring to Gen Con. I’m also planning to go see the new Jurassic Park movie with Caleb, because I love dinosaurs and the trailer looks pretty good.
So that’s it for this Update. Enjoy the Rifts sale and do something fun this weekend.
